Vision

To engage in sustainability of quality teaching in the college.

Mission

To raise the quality of all the nursing education programmes in the Faculty of Nursing (undergraduate, bridging and postgraduates.

Goals

  • To adhere the missions of the University and the College from both administrative and academic development.
  • To ensure high quality standards in nursing teaching and learning.
  • To obtain academic accreditation from national and international recognized agency in the field of nursing education.
  • To assure quality in learning outcomes of nursing programs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Supervising the divisions under the unit.
  • Approving annual operational plans for the unit’s divisions.
  • Conducting the consultative committee’s work in the entity.
  • Updating and implementing a comprehensive quality, excellence, academic accreditation, sector measurement, and evaluation strategic plan in alignment with the university’s overarching goals, policies, and strategic plan as well as the requirements of the Education and Training Evaluation Commission.
  • Overseeing the preparation of awareness programs to promote and instill a culture of quality, academic accreditation, measurement, and evaluation in coordination with the division within the unit and relevant units inside and outside the entity.
  • Nominating internal personnel for qualification for internal and external audits to review and achieve quality and academic accreditation standards in coordination with the Deanship of Quality and Academic Accreditation according to approved policies.
  • Providing entity staff with new information in the fields of training, development, and education as per job requirements.
  • Supervising the preparation of reports and studies related to quality, academic accreditation, measurement, and evaluation.
  • Identifying tasks with low performance, analyzing them, and designing curricula to improve performance.
  • Providing feedback to the sector by evaluating the performance of quality, academic accreditation, measurement, and evaluation processes in periodic reports.
  • Supervising the implementation of measurement and evaluation mechanisms to achieve compliance with approved national and international standards in coordination with the Deanship of Quality and Academic Accreditation.
  • Engaging in effective communication with academic departments and administrative units within the entity and providing them with regular reports related to their areas.
  • Coordinating and communicating with relevant entities within the entity regarding alumni affairs.
