A Message from Head of Public Health Nursing Department

I would like to welcome you to the Faculty of Nursing in the Department of Public Health at the University of King Abdul Aziz. The Department of Public Health is one of the current bodies developing the nursing specialty with an attempt to highlight the importance of promoting the ongoing work in the nursing sector on a scientific, social, and cultural level.

The project aims to achieve a comprehensive system of academic nursing specialty. Those of us working in the Department of Public Health are willing, capable and qualified in many aspects to initiate this topic and are happy to take this significant step of making a joint effort, combined with transparency and sincerity on the level of the work culture and carry it through to the areas of higher education and of representing the University.

This Faculty, which deals with the graduation of Saudi nurses, represents a threshold to a bright future for this important humanitarian profession. We are proud of our work, and the efforts of Saudi graduates are outstanding. For us and for all employees of the Department of Public Health and the members of the teaching and administrative staff, I ask Allah to unite us in faith and also ask him to approve of this effort and that you will be richly rewarded.
